Karen Carden:
Owner/Cosmetologist/Nail Technician
Karen graduated from The House of James, and has been working in the beauty industry for over 30 years. She opened The Springs Salon and Spa in 1998.
Karen strives to provide a professional atmosphere and a relaxing experience for all clients. She is skilled in all aspects of her career, but feels that her main strengths include: color formulation, haircutting, and timely service.

Nate Carden:
Cosmetologist/Talent Manager
N8 is the HairWizard. With 15 years of experience in the beauty industry, he's prepared for any challenge.
N8 is a skilled color specialist, with the ability to create a personalized connection of cut, color, and style for each of his guests. Having been an educator for Wella, he is a fount of haircolor knowledge.
Curly and textured hair is another area of N8's expertise. He enjoys working with curl and showing his guests how to embrace their natural texture.
N8 is also a Men's Hair Master. He excels in clipper work and creating structured cuts that flatter and define the face.
Shonna Brewer:
Cosmetologist/Nail Technician
Shonna graduated from Prosser School of Cosmetology in 1995, and has been working in the beauty industry since graduation. She previously owned her own salon for 12 years.
Shonna joined our team in 2011. She enjoys helping her clients look and feel their best! While Shonna is talented in all aspects of hairdressing, she specifically excels in men's hair design. She also enjoys providing spa services for her clients, such as pedicures, manicures, and shellac.
Nikki Wethington:
Cosmetologist/Extension Specialist/Nail Technician
Nikki graduated from Empire Beauty School in 2010. She joined The Springs Salon and Spa in September 2015, after working as a haircutting specialist for five years at another salon.
She found a love for precision cutting after training with the Vidal Sassoon Academy. Since joining The Springs, she has rekindled her passion for haircolor and is pursuing her Master Color Expert certification through Wella Professionals.
Nikki's newest venture is hair extensions; she offers tape-ins, micro-link and fusion methods. She is certified through both DreamCatchers and Donna Bella.
Felicia Massingham:
Cosmetologist/Skin Care Specialist
Felicia graduated from PJ's College of Cosmetology in 2012. She is very passionate about her work and dedicated to achieving successful results every time you sit in her chair.
Felicia specializes in color. She is skilled in the art of highlighting, bayalage, shadow roots and color melting. She prides herself in staying up to date on the latest haircolor trends.
She is also a skincare specialist. Felicia has been trained in skincare through Sephora and Aveda. She loves helping her guests overcome their skin issues and helping them reveal beautiful, glowing skin.
Felicia is extremely committed to every guest having the utmost experience and leaving her chair satisfied beyond measure.
Phyllis Woods:
Cosmetologist
Phyllis graduated from The House of James, and has been working at The Springs Salon and Spa since 1999.
Phyllis is a master colorist and stylist, and is talented in all aspects of the beauty industry. Her career has given her the opportunity to work as an educator for two major color companies in the past.
MAKE-UP
Natalie Carden:
Make-up Artist/Salon & Spa Coordinator
Natalie has been employed at The Springs Salon and Spa since 2008. She specializes in airbrush make-up and false eye-lash applications.
She enjoys making her clients look and feel beautiful for special occasions. She especially enjoys doing bridal make-up, as well as prom and applications for local photo shoots.
MASSAGE
John Saylor:
Massage Therapist
John graduated from The Louisville School of Massage in 2001, and has been a massage therapist at The Springs since 1999.
John specializes in neck and back work. He loves helping people by providing relaxation and pain relief. John looks forward to seeing you for an appointment.
Denise Kimla:
Massage Therapist
Denise graduated from Southwestern College in Florence, KY in 2010. She joined The Springs Salon and Spa in 2014.
She specializes in deep tissue work and enjoys creating a relaxing experience for her clients.
